Mass Shooting Leaves At Least 16 Dead, Dozens Injured

According to the Maine Police Department, the to of people dead is 18, and 13 others were injured in Wednesday night’s mass shooting. Currently, the search continues for the identified gunman Robert Card, a military-trained firearms instructor recently released from a mental facility. Police say is armed and dangerous.

While the search continues, all schools in Lewiston, Maine are canceled and resident are asked to remain inside.

Multiple people have been killed and dozens injured in an active shooter situation in Lewiston, Maine.

The incident took place at Spare Time Bowling Alley and Schmeges Pool Hall, about 4 miles apart. At least 20 people have died, according to ABC News, while CNN reports at least 22 deaths.

Law enforcement agencies, including the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the FBI, are responding to the incident.

The number of casualties is expected to change as the investigation continues.
