NBA Champion Rajon Rondo Arrested On Gun And Drug Charges

NBA player Rajon Rondo has been arrested in Indiana on charges of firearm and drug possession.

The 37-year-old, who has won two NBA championships, was pulled over by a state trooper after reports of recklessly driving a black 2022 Tesla.

During the stop, the trooper smelled marijuana and conducted a search, discovering marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a firearm found in Rondo’s possession.


The police stated that Rondo is prohibited from possessing a firearm due to a protection order against him in 2022, which was dismissed after both parties came to an agreement.

Rajon Rondo is a four-time All-Star, his sixteen-season tenure consists of playing with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Atlanta Hawks, Boston Celtics, Dallas Mavericks, Sacramento Kings, Chicago Bulls, and New Orleans Pelicans, last appearing with the Los Angeles Lakers.
