During an interview with E!’s Daily Pop, Usher confessed that he had the chance to date late R&B singer, Aaliyah.

“I’ve never told anybody this,” he admitted. “Somebody that I was really good friends with that I wish that I would have taken more serious—’cause she was a really, really close friend of mine for a small amount of time and then we just kinda disconnected—it was Aaliyah.”

According to Rap Up, Usher is in a relationship with the mother of his two kids, Jenn Goicoechea. They recently had a baby boy in October. Usher is also the father to two sons, Usher and Naviyd, with ex-wife Tameka Foster.

In Aaliyah was briefly married to R. Kelly in 1994-1995 and famously dated Damon Dash in 2000.
