Tax relief is coming for Maryland retirees, small businesses and low-income families.
Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan and state legislatures have agreed on a near two-billion dollar tax relief package over the next five years. Hogan called the bipartisan deal “the largest tax cut package in state history with major and long-overdue relief for Maryland’s retirees.” The new tax relief agreement comes as the state has collected billions of dollars in surplus resulting from large amounts of COVID-19 pandemic federal aid.
