Biden To Speak At United Auto Workers Conference

President Joe Biden will address one of the nation’s largest labor unions today.

He’ll be the keynote speaker at the United Auto Workers‘ National Cap Conference in Washington D.C. Blue-collar auto workers will be a key target for Biden in states like Michigan and Wisconsin.

The UAW has not yet officially supported Biden, with union president Shawn Fain declaring “Support our cause, or you will not get our endorsement.”

Kansas City member, Leo Carrillo, said “he was there for us,”seeing a sitting President at the picket line in solidarity.

The UAW has more than 380,000 members across the U.S. Many believe there were successful labor strikes last year, which could mean union labor might be a major issue in the 2024 elections.
