‘Insecure’ creator Issa Rae is starring in Sony Pictures Animation’s sequel to 2018 ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’ with Shameik Moore.
Rae will voice the role of as Jessica Drew, better known as Spider-Woman, reports Variety.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the sequel’s plot is hidden. However, the film will continue to “feature an array of Spider-characters drawn across Marvel Comics’ time and space.”
Shameik Moore will reprise his role as Miles Morales and Hailee Steinfeld will do the same as Gwen Stacy, a.k.a. Spider-Gwen.
The sequel has a release date of Oct. 7, 2022.
