Jay-Z Invests In Multi-million Vegan Cheese Brand With Chris Paul

Jay-Z has added another vegan brand to his portfolio, he along with NBA star Chris Paul raised $3 million for Misha’s Kind Foods. “The vegan cheese brand aligns with the vision of Jay-Z’s Marcy Venture Partners firm,” says Marcy co-founder Jay Brown.

“When we first discovered Misha’s we found some immediate synergies. We embrace companies that value sustainability, empowerment, inclusivity, accessibility, convenience, health and wellness, and personal expression.”

The Los Angeles-based vegan company will use the money to create new products, expand the team and grow its retail footprint.

Jay-Z has previously invested in Impossible Foods, vegan cookie brand Partake Foods, vegan oat milk brand Oatly, and SIMULATE, the parent company of vegan chicken brand NUGGS.
