“Shark Tank” Has It’s First Black Female Guest Shark

Emma Grede will be the first Black female guest shark on Shark Tank.

Emma Grede, the founding partner of SKIMS and CEO of Good American, announced on her Instagram that she will be on Shark Tank.

She will be making history as the first Black woman to be a guest Shark. The popular ABC show’s 13th season will premiere Friday, October 8th. Grede will join the original cast of Sharks, Lori Greiner, Barbara Corcoran, Mark Cuban, and Kevin O’Leary, to help entrepreneurs from Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, and New York City.

Good American, the company launched by Grede and Khloe Kardashian in 2016, was extremely successful, according to Shadow and Act it was the biggest apparel launch in history. She also is the Co-Founder of SKIMS with Khloe’s sister, Kim Kardashian.

Along with Grede, another superstar guest will be joining this season’s Shark Tank, Kevin Hart, this will be his first appearance on the show. We all know Hart as a comedian but he is also an entrepreneur who has multiple entertainment companies, HartBeat Productions and Laugh Out Loud.

Shark Tank will air this Friday at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on ABC, you can also view it the next day on Hulu.
