Solange and her husband, music video director Alan Ferguson have called it quits. The singer announced the news on Instagram.
Solange has not said much outside of her post. The former couple married in 2014 after being introduced years prior by Janelle Monae and Pete Wentz. She calls Ferguson “a phenomenal man who changed every existence of my life.”
Two years ago, the singer was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. She says, “the past 2 years have brought me more physical and spiritual transition and evolution than ever before.my body left me with no choice but to listen and be still ,within that stillness i begin my journey in confronting my worst enemy, fear.”
Ferguson was a part of Solange’s “A Seat at the Table” album and projects for her sister, Beyonce.
It was rumored that the pair split due to cheating allegations but Solange quickly shut the theory down.
