Barbie is honoring Black journalist Ida B. Wells with a doll.
The doll is part of the company’s “Inspiring Women” series.
A history lesson for you, Ida B. Wells was a slave born in 1862. She went on to write about the horrors of lynching and racism.
The doll goes on sale Monday.
