(Washington, DC) — Authorities in the District are preparing for possible protests and unrest this week surrounding the Derek Chauvin trial. A verdict is expected for the former Minneapolis police officer as he is facing murder charges in the death of George Floyd. All time off has been canceled for D.C. Police ahead of the pending decision. At least four people were arrested on Saturday night in the city as people rallied against police brutality.
