Family Of The Man Allegedly Killed By Police Officer Speak Out

Family of man allegedly killed by a Prince George’s County police officer speaks out.

The family of the man allegedly shot by a police officer while handcuffed in the officer’s police cruiser wants a full investigation into their loves ones death. Officer Michael Owen has been charged with murdering William Green Monday night while Green sat handcuffed behind his back and seat-belted.  Green’s daughter spoke today of the impact of her father’s death, saying her father will never walk her down the aisle or see his future grandchildren.  Green had been arrested Monday night for allegedly running into parked cars with his vehicle near Saint Barnabas Road in Temple Hills. The president of the Prince George’s chapter of the NAACP called the County’s District 4 police unit one of the worst in the county for police brutality. The Green family is represented by William “Billy” Murphy. Murphy represented the family of Freddie Gray, the Baltimore man who died in April 2015 after being injured while in police custody.
