FEMA Green Lights Emergency Declaration In Florida

At least four people are dead and 159 others are unaccounted for

(Surfside, FL) — More help is on the way for those impacted by the multi-story condo collapse near Miami Beach. FEMA has approved an emergency declaration from Florida to bring in extra resources. State and county emergencies have already been declared since the collapse early Thursday morning. FEMA is also sending search and rescue crews to help dig through the rubble in Surfside. At least four people are dead and 159 others are unaccounted for as crews continue to search.
