Washington, D.C. (Monday, November 29, 2021) – Howard University’s Men’s Basketball Team scored a big win yesterday. College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving Company announced it is sponsoring the Bisons.
College HUNKS Hauling Junk and Moving®, an industry leader in stress-free solutions for moving and junk-hauling needs, is sponsoring the entire Howard University Men’s Basketball team. This is the first company to endorse a Historically Black College and University Team in the NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) era. Washington D.C. is the birthplace of College HUNKS and ushers in a new era of NIL in Washington D.C. and more importantly for HBCU sports.
Howard University holds a distinctive significance to College HUNKS Co-Founders Nick Friedman and Omar Soliman. The duo grew up in Washington D.C. and attended Howard University homecoming events during their youth. Friedman also played on the Howard University intramural club basketball team and won the national championship with the team in 2007.
