(Annapolis, MD) — Marylanders 65 years or older living in congregate care settings will now qualify for COVID booster shots. Governor Larry Hogan says after a testing program found waning immunity in state nursing homes, the administration made the decision to loosen booster shot restrictions. In addition, all pharmacies and vaccine providers will be administering booster shoots to anyone who considers themselves immunocompromised, no prescription or doctor’s note required.
