A new policing plan is moving forward in Minneapolis after a police officer murdered George Floyd in 2020. City Council unanimously approved a plan to address systemic racial bias. According to Minnesota’s Star Tribune, the 144-page settlement between the city and the state Department of Human Rights that sued Minneapolis for the murder will be released to the public soon.
