Serena Williams Plays In U.S. Open Third Round

(Flushing, NY)  —  The U.S. Open is the place to be this evening.  Serena Williams is looking to extend her stay at the tournament after winning her second-round singles match on Wednesday.   However, last night she and her sister Venus Williams fell in straight sets to a pair from the Czech Republic, who apologized to the crowd knowing it wasn’t what fans wanted to see.
