Law and Order and Homicides in DC

The Attorney General of The District of Columbia discusses the rise in the DC homicide rate and efforts to reduce it.

There have been 21 murders in The District of Columbia so far this year.  This time last year, there were 13.  That’s a 62% increase over last year.  Nearly all of the homicides this year and last were committed by guns.  What can be done about that?  Political leaders are trying to address the rising homicide rate and prosecuting those convicted of the crimes.
