Mother Person of Interest In DC Missing Baby Case

Washington, D.C. (Monday, May 10, 2021) – A frantic search continues today for a missing two-month old baby in the District.  Kyon Jones was last ween Wednesday in the 1500 block of Benning Road, NE.

While the infant has been missing since Wednesday, his disappearance was not reported until Friday.  Police have provided few details on the case and no Amber Alert was issued.  Authorities said this case did not meet the traditional criteria for an alert.  Mayor Muriel Bowser confirmed at a press conference today that the mother of the infant is a person of interest in the case.
