Rapper Kanye West has agreed to stop harassing ex-wife Kim Kardashian.

A source told Entertainment News that West has informed Kardashian that he’s “going away to get help” and agreed to stop harassing her and cyber bullying her boyfriend, Pete Davidson.

The source also said, “for the sake of their kids, Kanye told Kim he’s not making any public appearances or inflammatory social media statements, and he will go away somewhere to get better.”

As reported by Screen Rant, West’s social media meltdowns of cyberbullying Davidson, attacking Kim’s parenting, and insulting comedian Trevor Noah led to his Instagram account was shut down for 24 hours, a “fair punishment” from Kim’s perspective. Kanye’s 2022 Grammy Awards appearance was also canceled as a result of his nonstop cyberbullying.

Kim has reached a “breaking point” and publicly released a statement about the way Kanye was hurting their family.

“Kanye’s constant attacks on me in interviews and on social media is actually more hurtful than any TikTok North might create,” wrote Kardashian in an Instagram story addressing Kanye being displeased with their oldest child creating a TikTok account with Kim’s supervision.

“As the parent who is the main provider and caregiver for our children, I am doing my best to protect our daughter while also allowing her to express her creativity in the medium that she wishes with adult supervision — because it brings her so much happiness,” the statement continued. “Divorce is difficult enough on our children and Kanye’s obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation so negatively and publicly is only causing further pain for all.”

Yahoo! spoke to Kanye’s newly hired head of media and partnerships, Jason Lee of Hollywood Unlocked, who issued  a statement of denial.

“Ye monitors all headlines pertaining to him and his family daily. Most all are being fed to media by ‘sources close to the Kardashians,’ which have been creating a false narrative that not only is untrue but further compromises his goal of creating a healthy environment for the beautiful children he shares with Kim,” he said.

He continued, “[Kanye]’s been focused on taking care of himself, being a present and loving father and a creative genius well before all the false headlines we’ve seen as recent. … If you don’t hear it from his mouth, read it from his social media, or get it from a press release he approved it’s simply false,” Lee said.

Kim and Kanye married in 2014, Kim filed for divorce in 2021. They have four children together.
