New quarterback for the ‘Skins announced

(Washington, DC) — Washington Redskins interim coach Bill Callahan says rookie Dwayne Haskins will be the team’s starting quarterback for the rest of the season. Callahan said he liked the consistency of Haskins during his first start against the Buffalo Bills. Haskins completed 15 of 22 passes for 144 yards as Case Keenum was in concussion protocol. Keenum, who started most of Washington’s games this season, will take the second-string spot and Colt McCoy will remain the third-stringer.
