Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks is the unofficial winner of Maryland’s Democratic primary for U.S. Senate. She has beaten Maryland District 6 Congressman David Trone in the hotly contested race that, at times, became testy during the campaign. She is expected to face former Maryland Republican Governor Larry Hogan, the projected winner of GOP nomination in U.S. Senate race.
