NY AG Files Lawsuit Related To Buffalo Mass Shooting

AG Letitia James filed a lawsuit against Mean LLC, which manufactures an MA lock that’s supposed to limit the amount of ammunition in a semiautomatic weapon.

(Buffalo, NY) — New York’s attorney general is suing a gun accessory manufacturer for allegedly aiding the Buffalo mass shooter. AG Letitia James filed a lawsuit against Mean LLC, which manufactures an MA lock that’s supposed to limit the amount of ammunition in a semiautomatic weapon. In the Buffalo shooter’s manifesto, he wrote he was able to easily remove the lock from the AR-15 he used and add 30 rounds of detachable magazines. James alleges Mean LLC deceptively and falsely advertises that installing an MA Lock on a weapon makes high-capacity weapons legal in New York, allowing the Buffalo shooter to carry out his racist rampage that left ten people dead at a Topps Supermarket last year. The lawsuit aims to bar the company from doing business in New York and pay for damages.

Jonathan Majors Appears For A Hearing Via Zoom

After being charged with assault by his former girlfriend, actor Jonathan Majors finally had his day in court, and the charges against him remain intact.

After being charged with assault by his former girlfriend, actor Jonathan Majors finally had his day in court, and the charges against him remain intact.

Tuesday was Majors’ chance to prove his innocence in court, but not much happened as the Manhattan D.A.’s office didn’t change the three counts of attempted assault, a count of harassment, and another count of aggravated harassment.

His attorney, Priya Chaudry, believed the evidence they presented would sway the case in Jonathan’s favor, but they say the D.A.’s office “turned a blind eye to it.”  Jonathan’s attorney also claims to have “clear evidence” to prove her client is being falsely prosecuted, but she doesn’t want to share it for fear that the alleged victim will change their story again.

Chaudry says, “When Mr. Majors showed a white police officer the injuries the woman caused him, the white officer got in Mr. Majors’ face and taunted him, saying that if the officer were to slap Mr. Majors, the officer wouldn’t break his finger. None of the white officers present investigated the assault of Mr. Majors. Worse, the District Attorney has not indicated any intention to pursue charges against the woman, or even investigate the truth.”

Another court date has been set for June.

Common and Jennifer Hudson were photographed canoodling in her suburban Chicago neighborhood.  The romance between the two stars appears to be getting serious after first being spotted together in February.

As noted by TMZ, the couple walked arm-in-arm for more than 90 minutes, looking as happy as ever.  Hudson typically shoots her syndicated talk show from Los Angeles, but the Writer’s Strike has allowed her to take a break. Common, who’s a Chicago native, clearly doesn’t mind.

Hudson’s fans have expressed concern over the relationship, as Common is known for romances that last about a year before he moves on. March 13th the Dreamgirls star posted a photo of Common and herself, asking for fans to wish him a ‘Happy Birthday’, instead of comments flooded in saying, “you’re too good for him”.

Over the years, he’s been romantically linked to Erykah Badu, Serena Williams, Angela Rye, and recently Tiffany Haddish. Comedian Haddish stated in the past that she believes he may be the type of man never to settle down.

I include two other dishes with soy butter glazed mushrooms and lemon garlic kale. Here’s to good eating and I hope you enjoy and make it for yourself.

Swarm Of Bees Delays Delta Flight In Houston

Flight delays happen more frequently than not nowadays. Weather, waiting for flight crews to arrive from previous delayed flights, maintenance, and, under severe circumstances, security breaches are only a few possible causes, especially ones involving insects.

Flight delays happen more frequently than not nowadays. Weather, waiting for flight crews to arrive from previous delayed flights, maintenance, and, under severe circumstances, security breaches are only a few possible causes, especially ones involving insects.

On Wednesday, there was a different kind of wait for travelers trying to board a flight from Houston to Atlanta: bees on a wing. Anjali Enjeti, a Twitter user, posted a picture of a swarm of bees that had gathered on a wingtip.

She said that until the swarm was exterminated, personnel would not permit passengers to board. Enjeti revealed on Twitter that although the flight’s captain had said they couldn’t handle the bees, the crew had hoped to bring in a beekeeper.

Delta said in a statement, “Bee-lieve it or not, Delta flight 1682 from Houston-Bush to Atlanta took a delay this afternoon after a friendly group of bees evidently wanted to talk shop with the winglet of our airplanes, no doubt to share the latest about flying conditions at the airport.”

Mina Lefevre, head of development and programming for the group, will leave Meta. She joined the company in 2017 after working as MTV’s head of scripted development.

Meta is cost-cutting by axing 10,000 jobs. The social media giant laid off 11,000 employees last year.

Facebook Watch’s originally started with unscripted and scripted content, they moved into more unscripted later. Unfortunately shows that got the boot to include Jada Pinkett’s “Red Table Talk,” “Steve on Watch,” featuring Steve Harvey. “Big Chicken Shaq,” Cardi B’s “Cardi Tries,” and Taraji P. Henson’s “Peace of Mind with Taraji.”
